I am quite disappointed to hear the latest news. At this stage, I believe I will cancel my entry.
I really enjoyed last year at Eastern Creek because I did a fair bit of driving but mostly because all the beers we had. It doesn't look like it will be the same this year.
I'd like to hear what other people are doing before I decide. I don't mind a 5 days mini-holiday if it's worth it.

I tend to agree Marius. It was disappointing that there is no practice on the Friday but now it has just become a drive day. OK 2 drive days. It's not even clear what they are planning as there are several sports car classes. I also don't understand the issue with numbers, we have 19 entries but Carrera Cup and GT3 Challenge only have a combined entry of 21 yet they have separate races. It's too much driving and expense to just do a few laps even if it is Eastern Creek.

I`m not bothered about going either.I`ts along way and who knows how many laps we`ll get anyway. Let`s have a chat about it at Phillip Island. I noticed Doug Smith & Phillip Ross had a run at Bathurst on the week-end, should put this one on the radar for next year. Regards J.G.

" Rennsport is part of Porsche's international race calender, I would have thought that this event would be an ideal opportunity to promote "our series "before a national Porsche audience. Regards DOK

it would have been great to promote the 944 at an event that attracts international interest, but if you look at the rennsport website not a mention of the 944 challenge they obviously had no intentions of letting us run as an individual class could say much more very dissappointed

Has anyone withdrawn from Rennsport? I see there are only 14 entries left on their website.

Guy`s we still get 4 go`s at the track, last time we went it wasn`t a round of the championship, and a $750 rebate will help defray the costs. There will be some awesome cars to look at plus Carrera cup and GT 3 racing. It is a long way to go, but it was last time to and we all loved it. A good turn-up will better showcase our series and remember, there will be a lot of Porsche enthusiast`s there, we may even get a couple of starters for the 944`s . While I was looking forward to weeding the garden that week-end, I think I`ll go. Regards JG.
