Best of luck to past and present 944 members tackling the Mountain this weekend!
Doug Smith is taking his new 997 Cup Car out for his first race weekend in this car at Bathurst after doing the event a couple of years ago. Cameron Beller is assisting with the driving duties in Class A. Joining them on the grid will also be current Porsche Carrera Cup driver, as well as ex-944 competitor Dylan O'Keeffe, taking the car father Chris purchased out to compete in Class C of the race to give him some laps of the track, and some extra miles on the car. Hopefully we see Chris entering the car for a few rounds throughtout the year!
Also comepting this weekend, in the Porsche regularity events are Dennis O'Keefe, and John Goddard in their 944's Hopefully everyone has a fatnastic weekend and brings the cars home straight with some good stories to tell!
The Bathurst Motor Festival website is fantastic with a comprehensive Live Timing component to watch from for those having a lazy Easter weekend!
